Celebrate 120 years of Invercargill’s iconic Civic Theatre with an unforgettable Dinner in the Spotlight.

Enjoy a premium five-course dining experience on the stage, with a menu from the highly regarded MASH catering.

The courses will explore Murihiku Southland’s food story, showcasing kaimoana, premium southern red meat and fresh local produce, as diners are treated to beloved Invercargill Musical Theatre performances from over the years.

In a nod to the history of the city, each table will enjoy a bottle of award-winning Surveyor Thomson Pinot Noir and Pinot Rosé from Domaine Thomson, a winery founded by the great-great-grandson of John Turnbull Thomson.

Perfect for a glamourous end-of-year celebration, Dinner in the Spotlight is a rare chance to see the Civic Theatre from a new angle and experience the venue from those who have graced the stage over the past 120 years.

A seating plan for this event will be created once ticket sales close on Tuesday 3 November. Guests will be contacted on Wednesday 4 November to confirm their table number for the event.
